The National Renewable Energy Platform (NREP) invites qualified and experienced consultants or consulting firms to express interest in undertaking a national consultancy to develop Uganda’s Clean Cooking Outlook Report 2025.
Uganda is implementing a coordinated transition toward universal access to clean cooking by 2040, guided by the National Integrated Clean Cooking Strategy (NICCS) and related sector frameworks. As part of strengthening evidence-based planning, investment coordination, and sector monitoring, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development intends to produce an annual flagship Clean Cooking Outlook Report covering performance, financing, impacts, and opportunities across six clean cooking value chains.
This consultancy will deliver a comprehensive, data-driven, and policy-relevant report that will serve as Uganda’s official annual statistical and analytical publication for the clean cooking sector. The assignment will involve data harmonization, stakeholder engagement, financing and market analysis, indicator development, and validation workshops at national level.
